The six IMT-2030 usage scenarios
ITU-R's IMT-2030 framework defines 6G around six usage scenarios and a set of capability targets that leap 10–100× beyond 5G (IMT-2020). Each one below is an interactive lab — open it from the rail, or click a card.
How to read these: every KPI is anchored to the real frameworks — 5G targets per ITU-R M.2083 (IMT-2020), 6G per ITU-R M.2160 (IMT-2030), service requirements per 3GPP TS 22.270, radio assumptions per TR 38.760. Reliability "×100 fewer errors" = 5 nines → 7 nines. Energy figures are per-bit. These are the scenarios driving the Rel-20 6G study (interim milestone June 2026).
