No 47-page click-to-accept maze. The actual rules of using CafeTele, in language a tired engineer can read at 11pm.

01 The agreement
By creating an account, buying a course, or using any tool on CafeTele, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
"You" means you (the human reading this). "We", "us", "CafeTele" means the operating entity behind cafetele.com.
02 Your account
You must be at least 16 years old.
Use a real email — that's how we send your purchase receipts and certificates.
Don't share your account with others. One human, one account.
You're responsible for keeping your password secure. If you suspect compromise, change it & tell us.
You can close your account anytime. We'll delete personal data per the Privacy Policy.
03 Access & license
When you buy a course, you get a lifetime, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to:
Stream the videos and read the materials on cafetele.com.
Use the included tools and downloads for your own learning & professional work.
Reference content in your own engineering work (you don't have to attribute).
You may not:
Re-host the videos or content on YouTube, Telegram, Drive, your blog, etc.
Resell or sublicense the courses.
Train AI models on the content.
Share login credentials with non-purchasers.
"Lifetime" means as long as we operate the platform — at least the next 5 years; in practice, indefinitely. If we ever shut down, you'll get 90 days' notice + downloadable copies of any course you bought.
04 Payment
Prices are shown in your detected currency at checkout (USD, INR, EUR, GBP).
Indian customers are billed in INR; GST included where applicable.
If you submit reviews, course feedback, forum posts, or testimonials, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display them on the platform. You retain copyright and can ask us to remove your content anytime.
3GPP / IEEE / ITU specs
Spec references are cited under fair-use educational purpose. Original specs remain copyright of 3GPP, IEEE, ITU and the respective standards bodies.
07 What's allowed
Use what you learn at your day job, freelance work, or in your own teaching.
Quote short excerpts (under 200 words) with attribution + link back.
Print or save course PDFs for personal offline reading.
Take notes & build derivative works (your own slide decks, summaries) for your team — as long as you don't reproduce CafeTele material verbatim.
Use the free tools (CellScope Pro, MML parser, KGET analyzer, etc.) commercially. They're free for a reason.
08 What isn't
Re-uploading our videos to YouTube, Telegram, Drive, Discord, etc.
Selling our courses or content as your own.
Scraping the site or our APIs at scale.
Using CafeTele content to train commercial AI models without explicit written permission.
Sharing one paid account across a team of 5 people. (Need bulk licenses? Email us — there's a discount.)
Reverse-engineering our paid tools to bypass payment.
Using the platform for anything illegal.
09 Free tools
Our 14+ free engineering tools (CellScope Pro, MML parser, KGET analyzer, Nokia 5G Optimizer, etc.) are provided as-is, free of charge, with no service-level guarantee. They run mostly in your browser; your project data stays on your machine unless you save it.
You can use them in commercial work (operator deployments, consulting, vendor RFPs). Attribution is appreciated but not required.
If a tool is broken or producing wrong results, please tell us at [email protected]. We fix things fast.
10 Certificates
Completing a paid course (90%+ of lessons watched) generates a verifiable Certificate of Completion with a unique ID like CT-670139CA. Anyone can verify it at cafetele.com/verify/<id>.
Certificates are not equivalent to:
Vendor certifications (Huawei HCIA/HCIE, Ericsson ECP, Nokia NCS, etc.) — those require official vendor exams.
Industry certifications (CWNP, iNARTE, etc.).
Academic degrees.
They are a credible proof of learning that we stand behind, but they don't replace the above.
11 Warranty disclaimer
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We aim for 99.9% uptime and accuracy, but we don't warrant that:
The service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Every line of every course matches the very latest 3GPP release the moment it's published.
Use of our content will result in any specific career outcome.
Telecom evolves fast. We do our best to keep content current — Release 18 → 20 already mapped — but please verify any production-impacting decisions against the actual specs.
12 Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CafeTele's total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — lost profits, lost data, business interruption, etc.
Some jurisdictions don't allow limits like this; if you're in one, the limits don't apply to you.
We can terminate access if you violate these terms (especially §08 — content piracy or account sharing). We give a warning first unless the violation is severe (fraud, criminal use).
If we terminate for cause, no refund. If we terminate without cause (e.g., shutting down the platform), we refund the unused portion of any subscription & give you 90 days to download owned content.
14 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes (price model, refund policy, IP rules) will be:
Emailed to all users with active courses at least 14 days before taking effect.
Highlighted at the top of this page with a "What's new" banner for 30 days.
Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15 Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
For disputes, we'd prefer you email us first — we resolve 95% of issues informally within a week. If that fails:
Indian customers: courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
Other customers: by mutual agreement, either Indian courts or the courts of your country of residence.
